when the superhuman "Pluses" revealed themselves to humanity, they expected excitement; what they got, however, was ostracism. as the world condemned them, other beings watched from the shadows they had lived in all their lives... and they did not like what they saw. the vampires were the first to take action, the first to take land. but they were certainly not the last.
